Description

No it's not Groundhog day. I was a nice guy and ended the auction early as someone was sure they wanted to buy it and then the person changed his mind. So no more early auction finishes and his loss is your gain. This was noted author and my best friend David Lansing's car. I can't tell you much about the car apart from it was his daily driver and he loved it. What I can tell you from driving it is this: Women in $80,000 cars will pull up alongside you on the freeway roll their windows down and say nice car. Couples will pull up to you at a traffic signal and ask you to rev your engine. Father's will stop on street corners and point to your car in awe. You will get at least three thumbs up every day from other drivers. The car is hoot to drive. It wants to cruise at 60-70 mph all the time. You'll feel great driving it but drive it you must. This is not a car for someone who can't drive. This is an automobile for someone who loves great American cars.
Why am I selling it? I have three cars and one bottom so one car has to go. I actually hope you don't buy it because the running costs are very low and I could do it up myself next year in which case I'd keep it for life. Now as well as it runs to make it pristine I'd spend some money on the car. Make the interior to its original splendor and fix the bodywork to make it all perfect. You can hear and see the engine running here. Sorry I didn't rev the engine but it would have been a much longer video as it sounds beautiful. https://youtu.be/VHz8Umb_Dyo
