1966 Ford Thunderbird Town Coupe

Selling a No Title 1966 Ford Thunderbird Town Coupe as a project car. I bought this coupe from this person who said that it was in running condition and that it had a clear title. He lied on both ends. I applied for a title and was approved but I will need to have it inspected to obtain it. I will need to have it running for that. The car arrived with a rattling noise. The timing chain was out of alignment. So my con mechanics align it and now it's making a clanking,clatter, or knocking noise. It's hard to described it at times. I've been told that it could be the timing chain to lifters to camshaft or crankshaft. I simply don't know and wouldn't want to mislead anyone. I've invested a little over $7000 total on this car and simply don't know any trust worthy mechanics to finish the job. I have receipts of over $3000 in parts alone. This car does not have vinyl top it was done with bedliner coating without my approval. It doesn't look that bad. It will also need a paint job. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I will accept serious reasonable offers only. This car might need to have the engine rebuilt. It will be sold as-is with no warranty expressed or implied and without a title.
