Description for Ford Mustang 1984

GT350 Anniversary convertible. Ony 1,213 GT350 convertibles were produced with the 302 cubic inch HO motor. Some with manual transmission, some with automatic. The automatic versions had fuel injection. A few were built with the 2.3 liter 4 cylinder turbo engine as well. This one is powered by the 5.0 liter high output V8 with electronic fuel injection teamed to an automatic transmission. Also equipped with TRX handling package, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, tilt steering wheel, cruise control,...power windows and more. This is a low mile, show quality example. it has custom TRX 16" aluminum wheels that replicate the original TRX aluminum wheels. This cars original wheels and Michelin TRX tires are included with your purchase. One interesting side note on these cars is that the use of the GT350 name created a riff which resulted in a lawsuit between Carroll Shelby (who was working with Chrysler CEO Lee Iaccoca at the time) and Ford Motor Company. Carroll Shelby sold Ford the rights to the "Cobra" name years earlier but not to the "GT350". Selling at the annual Mecum Auction in Kissimmee Florida - 11 Days, 3500 cars! This vehicle is scheduled to cross the block on Tuesday January 8th, lot # G140.
