ITEM: I recently purchased this Old Ford Tow Truck Wrecker at an estate sale auction in Lehighton, Pa. from the widow of the deceased owner. He had bought it in 1998 and used it in his garage towing business. During his career he had restored two 1940 ford coupes that were also sold at the auction. In discussions with friends and family members at the auction I learned that he had the engine rebuilt approximately 20,000 miles ago with thoughts of restoring the truck but life had different plans. This Old Ford is now being offered to you in the very condition I purchased it in except my mechanic washed it, checked the fluids, changed the engine oil and did a compression check.

• The clear pennsylvania title in my name shows this ford truck wasoriginally titled on 12/26/79. It is a 1980 year model with the VIN number being F37ZNG82605. The gvwr is 10,000 and the odom. miles are shown as exempt.
• The truck has dual rear wheels, 4 speedmanual floor shift transmission and my guess on the engine size is 400 cid.
• I had the truck towed to my location as it does not have a current inspection sticker.
• I enjoy driving it around my two acre property.
• The no-mar wrecker body hoist mechanism works but probably should be rebuilt.
• The tires are bad and should be replaced.
• The brake shoes, cylinders. etc should be rebuilt.
• The dashboard padding hasintermittent cracking.
• Both the cab and wrecker bodies haveintermittent surface oxidation, rust and some rust thru.
• The odometer reading is 96972.
• The results of the compression test are = (cyl-psi)= R1-135, R2-130, R3-100, R4-130 ...... L5-130, L6-120, L7-140, L8-135.
• The last photo shows a set of 4 wheels and some towingaccessories that are included with the truck.

Condition:

Shipping Policy:

• Free Pickup at my Garage / Warehouse located 15 miles from the Legendary Hershey Car Show and Flea Market.
• My location is large truckaccessible so loading will not be a problem.
• When picked up at my location or shipped within the State of Pennsylvania there is 6% sales tax due at the time of title transfer which will be paid by the buyer to one of the local state approved vehicletitle transfer companies.To be exempt you must be a licensed vehicle dealer and have the appropriate identificationwith you.
• When shipped out of the State of Pennsylvania there is no Pa.Sales Tax but the title must still benotarized by the buyer and the seller.

Payment:

A non refundable deposit of $500.00 is due upon the completion of the auction. The balance is due in cash or by wire transfer within 10 days thereafter. Pickup of the truck must take place within 30 days of the completion of the auction.
