This is a great opportunity to acquire a piece of New England race history. this car was designed and constructed by Dave Ruel of Springfield . Mass in 1948 and raced up and down the East Coast through 1955. This full size Sprint Car is constructed of steel tube frame rails and a hand formed aluminum body. The car has been virtually untouched through out the years beyond general maintenance and upkeep. We have a variety of documentation to go with the car including build pictures. Some highlights of this well preserved piece of history include 1937 Ford 21 Stud Flathead with a Dave Ruel designed custom aluminum intake touting 4 staggered Stromberg 97 Carburators 40 Ford Quick Change Rear with 40 Ford "Juice Brakes" 32 Ford Split Wishbone/Modified 40 Ford rear radius rods 32 Ford Heavy axle with 35 brakes converted to "juice brakes" In/Out Transmission.
