1993 Ford Explorer Lightning

1993 Ford Explorer in very good shape. I bought this truck from a older lady and as far as I know it has 49000 original miles. I bout this truck with intentions to make a Lightning street truck out it. I was planning on putting a V8 in it when my son decided he wanted it when he turned 16. So I rebuilt the original V6 did not wont to turn him loose with a V8. It is still pretty fast for a V6. I add a Comp cams performance camshaft also I got heads of a 95 Explorer and had them ported and polished at a local machine shop. The 95 heads increased the compression ratio so you will need to run 93 octane gas. I also had the transmission rebuilt by Transmission Magicians in Mobile. Al. The a/c works. it has remote door locks. auto head lights and many other up grades. It has a $2000 paint job less than a year old and a Mach 1 fiberglass hood. After all that my son only drove it for a half year before he decided he wanted a Mustang. So it has been parked in a garage now for the past few months while I have been looking for a V8 donor Explorer. Now do to unforeseen medical dills I just need to sell it. I have well over 8000 invested but I just want $6000 at that price you can install a V8 and have a awesome street truck.
