1937 Ford Model 78 Coupe

Thanks for your interest in the Ford. We purchased the car in Utah from a private owner who has owned the car since 1999. It appears to have been restored back to stock in the 90s.

The coupe has an original all steel body and fenders with original frame. We have not noted any signs of major rust damage past or present. The paintwork is fair and presentable. It has dulled over time. There are a few minor dings on the fenders. The chrome and trim are still in very good condition as is all of the glass. The trunk floor is excellent and the front pockets are solid.

The interior is immaculately clean and well kept. It has its stock bench seat covered in mohair. The steel dash and window garnishes are stock with a wood look. It has an optional AM radio but it is not functional. The pop out front windshield works great.

It's flathead V8 engine runs beautifully. It's mated to a stock 3-speed manual transmission. It runs and drives very well with just a little bit of clutch chatter! The engine and compartment are clean and stock except for the air cleaner.

Overall the car is a great driver the way it is. It's ready for weekend shows or cruise nights. As an all steel original Ford it's certainly worthy of continued quality restoration. It's an outstanding value on a neat old coupe.

A nominal $99.00 documentation fee will be added to the sale price. Nevada residents may be responsible for Nevada Sales Tax. A $500.00 NON REFUNDABLE depositis due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. This can be made via Paypal or bank wire transfer. The remaining balance is due in the form of bank wire transfer withfive days of the end of the auction.
