Description for GMC Pickup 1936
Pennsylvania title in my name. Finished my 4 year build of this 1936 GMC flatbed truck. I bought the body and chassis in Camarillo California. Flatbed has been built from scratch to fit the 36 shortbed chassis using cedar for the custom storage boxes and planks. The body has been kept original looking to keep the ultimate sleeper truck look. There are new Firestone blackwall tires on 17” artillery wheels including the spare. Restomod parts include the 2003 aluminum block and heads 5.3l LS engine (LM4) runs great has been tuned with a speed density tune. I fully rebuilt the 4l60e transmission and resealed the engine. The engine has a Delmo LS kit which hides the throttle body with the new Holley intake. Holley fuel rails, pcv catch can installed, relocated coil packs, cal custom valve covers with adapters, mechanical water gauge, mechanical oil gauge, Nissan 4x4 rear axle, modified for QA1 single adjustable shocks all around, new aluminum radiator, new water pump, new alternator, 12v clean tucked wiring, Vintage Air heater/defrost setup, hidden drive by wire setup, dual master cylinder, wilwood adjustable proportioning valve, custom PTO lever for 4l60e shifter next to emergency brake handle, small turn signals, modified original rear gas tank to except square body sending unit in tank fuel pump, Holley fuel filter/regulator. New window felts and glass, new weather stripping and back glass, restored windshield regulator for fold out windshield, new oak A pillars and behind dash wood, new custom leather seat, new wood floors, rebuilt leaf spring, new brake shoes. I have around 500 miles break in time on this build since completed. Runs great with the newer LS engine but keeps the classic feel of a vintage truck. I have a 30 minute in depth video on Show Me Trucks of this build along with 70 plus videos of this build. For Sale: Best Ls Swapped Engine Farm Truck https://youtu.be/uzmNRLKgpD0
