1980 Honda Accord Hatchback Coupe

I bought this a couple of years ago for a music video shoot and ended up keeping it way longer than I had anticipated just because I loved it so much.The engine only has 76k original miles on it and I have all the service receipts the original owner kept on it. I bought from someone else who also only put about 1500 miles on it, and the remaining miles were put on it by the original owner, who I believe died.The engine and transmission purr without a hitch and the car has never failed to start in two years of driving it. I use a LucasOil engine injector cleaner a couple times a year and she always starts right up, sometimes you have to pump the gas because she is carbureted. She'll hit 80 MPH on the freeway if ya like but RPMs are crazy at that speed so I always assume I'm getting terrible gas mileage at that speed.Everything works, except the previous owner told me the brake lights short out the fuse when you replace it so they are unfused and unused at the moment. In my state you don't have to pass a safety so I never got it looked at, probably a wiring/grounding issue, otherwise a new (used) brake light can be found on eBay for like 80 dollars. It seems to be the left back brake light causing the issue as that's the one that shows up on the dashboard as faulting when it shorts out a fuse. In other words the brake lights are functional and come on when the lights are on but when you apply the brake they currently don't get brighter because a fuse is missing. May just need to clean the contacts on the brake light, I have not addressed it at all.The AC is present but the compressor is not connected to the belt and I just never connected it because I assumed it was disconnected because it lowers fuel economy and just left it that way. It looks brand new but it is untested by me or the previous owner.Several seatbelts are loose and need to be rewound, easy fix. The rearview mirror is loose and needs to probably be replaced or superglued in a fixed position that's comfortable for you. I never fixed it because I knew I would sell it and didn't want to permanently fix it in a position that would be incompatible with the new driver. There are also used ones from junkyards available here on eBay for around $60-100 bucks.Back right wheel sometimes has a squeak in it. I think it's from the drum brake rubbing against the rotor, which I have tried to adjust but these particular drum brakes weren't designed with an adjustment screw or mechanism of any kind so when they start to wear out there isn't much you can do. You can't replace them with new ones because they aren't available, all you can do is put on other used ones from a junkyard. Or replace the rear drums with a disc brake system which there are tutorials online for that, too.This is a great little car for someone who appreciates old things, likes to work on cars and wants a fun little economical mode of transportation.
