[isdntekvideo]Here is a fun and rare Aspen Green 41k mile 1967 Scout 800 with an almost perfect completely original convertible top and also includes the rare slant back hard Sportop which is also in excellent condition. When we found this little guy from the 2nd owner and the shape it was in after being stored in a garage for decades, it was jaw dropping. This Scout features its factory option upgraded interior. With just a bit of gas and a new battery we were able to start it and drive it up onto our car hauler and pull it home to our storage warehouse. When we finally pulled it out of storage and began to clean it up that’s really when it came to life. The rare Comanche 152 4cyl. Motor starts and idles easily, the clutch functions very well and brakes work as they should. It is very easy to drive and certainly garners thumbs ups and smiles whenever we have driven it around by our lake downtown area. The side windows pull out from the frame, and the convertible top folds back to reveal a true total convertible. For colder months you simply install the hard top and there you go. We also put a new set of tires on it. The floors are solid for a IH of this era and carpeting is new coupled with nicely fitted IH front rubber floor mats. All glass is good, doors shut nice and line up to the body as they should. I have never seen one of these anywhere with the complete interior and original fabulous convertible top, and can only find a couple of pictures online with the actual factory convertible top. We hold a clean title. Notes: The engine bay pictures we took we made some carburetor adjustments and did not reinstall the aircleaner in those pictures but we do have it ????and certainly will include. Also just put in a brand new battery.
