1986 Jaguar XJS

Rare Jag; it runs! Solid body needs paint and interior. New torque reduction starter, alternator, coil. Runs and drives today, but it is a Jag. The black is a prior repaint, originally a gray color. Bought as non- running and was hoping to get this in top condition, but running is as far as I got. Needs paint but floors are solid. Paint on roof is lifting and needs attention. Local driving is smooth as a Jag should be. AC and speedometer not working. Passenger side window sticks, maybe dirty track but prior owner included 2 used window regulators which will go with the sale. Listed mileage is as it appears however speedo is non working thus true mileage is unknown.

Bidders, I'm glad to see the interest in this car. While moving the car, it is running very rough. I suspect the fuel pick-up is clogged. I will try to clear but want to let you know it is having issues. If the high bidder wishes to withdraw because of this I understand; just message me. I would hope any successful bidder would do so anyway when buying a 30+ year old car, but let me add that you should plan on trailer/tow to get it home. As I said in add, I only have it running, and drove locally. This is not highway tested!
