Description
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this incredibly rare 1970 Jaguar XKE! This gorgeous example of British engineering comes in a stunning silver paint job complemented by a clean gray interior and black convertible top. The convertible top is in good condition and functions as it should. Powering this vehicle is believed to be the original 4.2 liter 6 cylinder motor mated to a crisp manual transmission. Features of the Jaguar include power front disc brakes, working heat and... more. Additionally, the Jaguar recently received a full inspection and tune up by a locally well know classic automotive shop. The vehicle comes to us out of a private collection where it has spent a large portion of its life. So, if you're in the market for an iconic vehicle that even Enzo Ferrari approved of, this E-type is for you. Please call or email us for more information. Although just built for only fourteen years the Jaguar XKE definitely made a huge impact both then and now. Enzo Ferrari was even quoted as saying that the E-type Jaguar was the most Beautiful car ever built and Sports Car International magazine placed the E-Type at number one on their list of Top Sports Cars of the 1960's. It was essentially built in three variants, a Fixed Head Coup, a Open Two-Seater or convertible and the 2+2 which was a coupe with 4 seats. Even though it was essentially a single design body for those fourteen years it did have three generations or three significant updates.
