Description
1986 Jaguar XJ6 Luxury Car
It's a special classic car, the former baby of a wealthy man with such a passion for Jaguars, he had a small fleet of them, fully restoring each one to the tune of $25k to $50k. (We don't know which amount was spent on this particular dreamboat.) It is freaky perfect, with even the underside getting raves. (It's supposed to have a hairline crack in wood dash, but we didn't see it.) It just passed inspection. Has roughly 80,000 miles with a few more probably added on. Fill the fuel tank from either side, so no memory worries about where to pull in. ;;; Cold air, beautiful leather seats, handsome wood dash. It's old school with a design that takes your breath away. Official Jaguar color is Cirrus Grey, but color is very creamy, which we mention because it looks different in different light in the photos.
Tariffs shmariffs.Oh, we're selling this beautiful automotive work of art for one reason only: We live in the Carjacking Capital of the world, aka St. Louis. (Only a fraction of actual car crimes there are reported, trust us.) They first got our gorgeous Mercedes, and drove it around the city for five months, untroubled by police, before running a red light and hitting some poor guy in an intersection, also totaling our Benz. They fled the scene. We were mostly driving this dazzling Jaguar at the lake, but when we had to be in StL, a guy got out of a car at a stop sign and headed toward our car. My husband drove away, not taking any chances. We couldn't bear to see what they did to the Mercedes happen to this Jag. If you live in the City of St. Louis, do not buy this car.
