1987 Defender 110 hard and bikini top

Description

I have had this Defender for about 3 years, reat fun and it has been very reliable. I have three children all of whom are at or will soon be at driving age, nd I need another auto..... Sad but true.
The good:
Mechanically very good, ear selection takes a bit to get use to but gearsselect fine and no noise from the boxEngine is good, ery economical. The truck does feel under powered when highway driving, ut running around town orsuburbs is greatVery capable off road, i lo box selection is goodI fitted the best available roll cage for the truck (SAFETY DEVICES, ook them up). This is not a canvas hoop sets that look like roll cages.Fitted new seats and cubby boxHard top and rear door available, nbsp;I took them off and fitted the tailgate and bikini top. It took two hours to get theroof off, nbsp;guessing about three hours to go the other way.Soundproof kitfittedLED and highintensity lights fittedEvery time you drive it you get smiles and waves.....
The bad:
Paint is a little roughSmall oil leaks here and there, nbsp;nothing bigSmall tear on dash toppanelBikini top is for a D 90 with standard roll cage, it is OK, ome time with aprofessional trimmer fit would be great.
