Classic Rover with automatic and 300tdi

This truck started life as a 1987 Land Rover defender 90. Current owner purchased it in 2011. In 2012 he had a top to bottom complete restoration and customization of the vehicle done. It has had less than 800 miles put on it since the restoration was completed. The vehicle has been stored inside a climate controlled storage during and after the restoration keeping the restoration looking fresh.

About the rebuild and restoration, the vehicle was carefully taken all the way down to the frame, and then treated to a galvanized frame and cross-member. The body was then stripped and painted as separate pieces adding new doors, and new tailgate and then carefully re assembled on the chassis. The outside was painted with high grade PPG paint in classic rover Pastel Green. The inside was treated with black truck bed lining to protect it from the elements. The interior was treated to dynamatting and soundproofing behind the door panels. A new pioneer stereo with Bluetooth, and ipod control on the stereo. Jl speakers, with JL subwoofer in the custom center console. The console was built using Starboard to protect it from the elements. We added a locking compartment for the top down days. Addition of heated leather seats, and 4 jump seats make this a great beach/mountain cruiser with seating for 6. Throw in the cooler and the dog, and let the adventures begin.

The complete drive train was refreshed. The 300tdi was fitted with AC, new timing belt, new alternator, along with a new radiator to keep this motor running nice and cool.
