Description

Ground-up restoration completed by well-known Land Rover specialist in Spain in August 2018. Featured in Autopista magazine in August 2018 and on the cover of Motor Clasico in October 2018 (Spanish car magazines). Rust-free 1968 Land Rover Santana Series IIA. Original chassis stripped, sandblasted and galvanized. Added power steering and front disc brakes from later model Santana. Added fully-synchronized rebuilt Series III 4-speed gearbox and Toro overdrive. Rebuilt 2.25 liter gasoline engine prepared for unleaded fuel. New high-torque starter. New wiring harness, new Wipac lights, Warn locking front hubs, new stainless steel exhaust, new shocks and parabolic springs, new BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires. Converted rear door to swing out with folding rear step for easy entry. Backdated banjo steering wheel. New glass and rubber. New Exmoor Trim seats, rubber floor mats and soft-top. New retractable lap belts front and rear. Mint condition with photo book of restoration. Enthusiast owned, less than 2,000 miles driven after restoration. Located in Madrid, Spain.
