Description

I am the second owner of this 1981 Lincoln Town Car. I bought it in 1987 and drove it until 1993 when I moved into my new home and decided to restore it. I put it in my garage on jack stands. I always kept it running. I put it back on the road briefly in 2001 for about a year when at 130,000 miles the oil pump failed. I then put it back in the garage and replaced the engine with a factory 5.0 HP & rebuilt Trans. The car has about 5 miles on it since rebuild. It has some computer issues that I have tried to resolve. It will run fine for about 20 minutes then it wants to stall. I love the car and it is in excellent condition with only very minor surface rust in a couple spots. I travel for my business and don't have the time and have lost interest in it. Everything worked on it when I parked it and the Burgundy Leather is in mint condition. I also have a ton of spare parts that come with the car. The car has spent most of its 35 years in the garage and would be an excellent restoration project for a true Lincoln lover.
