Beautiful 1986 Maserati Bi-turbo Spyder!!
I picked this beauty up at Barrett Jackson a few years ago, have enjoyed it as a garage queen and weekend toy and now its time to let someone else enjoy her!
Exterior is in fantastic shape with very minor ware from age, Drop top has a few small mends but is solid and waterproof. Interior is absolutely Immaculate! seats are incredibly coushy and comfortable; have been conditioned and cleaned after every drive. absolutely every bit of the interior is wrapped in supple italian leather. All interior lights work as they should, Air-conditioning still blows cool, and gauges work as they should.
After buying the car I had all the engine seals, plugs and gaskets replaced. Car runs beautifully and has a distinctive throaty Maserati exhaust note, wonderful to listen to on a nice sunny day drive! Car starts from a cold start everytime and runs strong.Like most vintage Italian cars they are known to have a quirk or two. this particular cars singular quirk is hot engine starts. when warmed up, the engine has a propensity to flood itself and require a bit of cool down before starting back up. from my research this hotstart issue was present when these cars were new in the 80's. that being said, its not a big inconvenience, only happens once in a while, and is a wonderful weekend toy!
installed a Battery tender to plug in while garaged to ensure a fresh battery every trip!
I've loved owning this car, but need to free up some funds which is sadly why I'm letting her go. My Loss is your gain.
I'm located in North Florida and the car came from arizona, it has never seen snow or salt air and has allmost never been in the rain.. 0 rust anywhere.I can help facilitate transit at buyers expense.
