1975 Mercedes Benz 280 C coupe w/ double overhead cam 6 cyl. engine, automatic tranny and disc brakes. This rare hand assembled vehicle is only 1 of 2,133 units produced in that model year, It's metallic blue paint & classic looks are a real head turner. The windshield and gasket are new w/ no scratches or blemishes. The car has original bamboo colored MB-TEX leather interior, new tires (w/ less than 1000 miles) on newer updated MB rims. It starts as it should and runs thru the gears well. Trip ODO & speedo work, the factory A/C system has been changed over to use R-134a refrigerant, components are all there but does not work. The only problem the car ever had was solved when I replaced the ill tempered original Solex carburetor with a specially prepared Weber carb by Jam Engineering. It was the best investment I ever made. The vehicle was originally from the west coast and it is in wonderful condition. I am selling only because I am downsizing to a condo with no garage.
