You are looking at a 1984 Mercedes 500SL . This is one of a few imported so called grey market cars in the early 80's . We have worked on this car since the early 90's . It had only 2 owners all its life . Always been in Texa, so no rust ! It has been repainted around 2002 . The paint is very nice and shiny with just a few minor scratches and touch-up spots . The interior has been redone around the same time . New seat, door panel, carpet and soft top. Dash is still original and has a couple of small cracks . Unfortunately we only have service records sine 2000 for about $21500 . Valve jo, rebuilt transmission,A/C compresso, brakes etc. . We also just replaced subframe mount, motor mount, control arm, front shocks . This car has always been garaged and onlt driven about 25k miles since 2000 . Everything works like its supposed to . Also has the factory hard top and a set of Dayton Wire Wheels . Rear valance is faded and needs to be repainted as shown in the pictures .
