1967 Mercedes Benz LA 911 4wd. $35k OBO.Power from OM.352 Mercedes diesel engine (Naturally aspIrated) is transferred to the rear wheels thru a 5 speed trans., 3 spd. aux. trans., two spd. transfer case giving a total of 30 spd's fwd and 6 spd's in reverse (crawl- to- hwy. speed limited by low pressure front tires). This wide range of gear options is provided by the three different ranges offered by the aux. transmission (over drive/direct drive/ under drive).Originally a NATO van in N. Africa, was converted to a mobile field office for a core sampling company based in Holland. Made its way to B.C. Canada where I acquired the truck w/18,000 km, on the clock and converted it into my off-road Winnebago.
