1963 Mercury Comet convertible that has been modified into a restomod / pro touring cruiser.
351 Windsor starts great, runs great, has good power, cruises very comfortably on the interstate and does not over heat thanks to the aluminum radiator with electric fan.
Tremec 5 speed manual is a lot of fun and gives you a great driving experience with great low end power along with exceptional cruising down the interstate system.
Good strong clutch.
Power steering, tilt steering column, power 4 wheel disk brakes, really nice wheels, tires are in great shape.
New power convertible top.
I know it has a modified front and rear end, steering, suspension, and drive line components but I don't know the specifics as they were done by the previous owner.
The body is solid and laser straight, shaved door handles makes it very sleek.
Nice large truck make this a perfect choice to take to the beach.
The paint is excellent, very high end driver quality. Just a few minor paint chips. Paint has some metallic and really sparkles in the sun.
Interior is very nice, no tears, cracks, or rips.
All the glass is good.
A lot of the chrome is new along with some nice original chrome left as well.
A few things to note: The radio, speedo, odometer do not work, I would estimate less than 5000 miles since painted; the trunk could use a new lock but the trunk can still open and close fine.
Car is super sharp, I've had a lot of hot rods but none have gotten as many thumbs up and looks as this car. Runs great, drives great and is a lot of fun.
