1980 MGB For Sale with 63,731 miles.

Within the past year, this 1980 MGB roadster has been under restoration that includes being repainted in factory shade of yellow. Other improvements include overhaling the heater system, power coating the valve cover, replacing the convertible top, new carpets, MG branded rubber mats, 4 tires, interior trim updates, new battery, windshield washer motor and more.

This MGB is powered by a 1.8-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission, the car is equipped with 14″ Rostyle wheels, a Moto-Lita steering wheel, door-mounted mirrors, and a Kenwood stereo.

The window cranks and sun visors were replaced under current ownership, and additional interior work includes replacing the center console, door locks and keys, door seals, and interior door pulls. The heater was overhauled with a replacement fan motor, heater core, and control cables while the outer housing was refinished. Dashboard switches were replaced including the hazard, lights, fan/heater along with steering column directional, horn, high beam, and wipers switches too. All lights work on this car, head lights both high and low beam, directional signals, back-up lights, trunk and interior lights, Brake lights.

Under the hood, the distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs, ignition wires, oil return and pressure hoses, along with engine mounts. There is a valve tap before the engine is warm, and some oil drips are noted on the lower portion of the engine.

The clock second hand works but the minute and hour hands do not move. There is tear on the back of the passenger seat (see photograph)

A replacement exhaust system was fitted under previous ownership, and the clutch hydraulic cylinders were replaced between 2023 and 2024.

A driver’s handbook, a repair manual, two sets of keys, uninstalled brake components, and parts are included in the sale.
