Description for Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight 1965

1965 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Hardtop Luxury Town Sedan - Original & Highly Original - RWD - Engine Type: V8, 425 cu in - Automatic Transmission - Assembly Plant: Lansing, Michigan - Color: Ocean Mist (turquoise) with White Top.Purchased new at Hippodrome Oldsmobile, Nashville, Tennessee, July 1965 by a family uncle for his wife, who mostly drove it locally in the Nashville area - When not in use, the car has been housed in the same garage when not in use since the day it was purchased - No Accidents - Mileage on the odometer: 124,240 - Car is not in driveable condition. It has not been driven since 2004. The body of the vehicle is in good shape for its age with minor rust and a small dent in the rear - car's chrome is in good shape - original hubcaps. This car has only had two owners, my wife and her uncle. This vintage car is rare; it is just awaiting restoration.Notes:(1) The car has not been driven since 2004. It ran well before that time. When not in use, the car was kept in a garage, but the garage was not heated most of the time. I'm not sure this is an issue, but the car was exposed to the cold weather in Tennessee, and the existing antifreeze may have gone bad.(2) We are unable to open the trunk. We have the trunk key, and the key turns, but the trunk does not open. My wife's uncle kept his Tom's Peanut signs in the trunk, and they may have interfered with the opening hardware when the trunk was closed.(3) There is a small dent in the trunk. Shown in photo.(4) The interior is worn. Shown in photo.(5) A rust spot on the driver's side close to the rear tire. Shown in photo.(5) A rust spot on the passenger's side at the rear window. We have a YouTube video with more details. This video is a complete walk-around of the car, including its interior.
