For sale in our estate sale is one quick 1969 Plymouth Road Runner. The Road Runner name was introduced 1968 as a trim level for the Plymouth Belvedere. The model was shoehorned between the highest trim GTX and the Satellite and was a huge success. The Road Runner sold double its expected numbers in the first year. The Road Runner will get up and scoot and is a real thrill getting up to speed.This Road Runner has had repaint and shows well is still presentable as a driver and the body lines and classic styling is sure to turn some heads!! This bird left the St. Louis assembly plant in 1969 with a 383 cubic inch V8 that has since been replaced with a big block 440 cubic inch V8 that sounds fantastic and will let your fellow motorist know you are on the road. Mated to that classic engine is auto 727 transmission running back to a post-traction rear end 323 with traction bars. This car is ready for the street or the street. As you open the door you are greeted by ultra-leather styled Mopar interior buckle seats with charcoal console & B-M shifter.
