Freshly restored 1969 Pontiac GTO. merica's Iconic Muscle Car. This example boast a custom Garnet Red Base/Clear coat paint job that is super nice. All jambs and under panels refinished to the same standards as the exterior on an all original panel solid body. The all new black interior and Vinyl top complement the beautiful color. New chrome and polished steel trim make it showroom new. All new door and window weatherstripping has been installed. All the glass is in great shape. All the little details have been taken care of right down to the GM decal in the door jamb. The engine (400 cu. in. ) is totally rebuilt with an upgraded cam (mild) and #48 Ram Air heads. Runs perfectly and sounds great with a brand new custom dual exhaust fabricated. onnected to chrome tips. A small detail but looks perfect. The Turbo 400 transmission is also a 1969 . orrect "PX" code and shifts great. ully serviced and no leaks. The rear end is the correct 10 bolt open unit. All new front brake rotors. alipers. oses rebuilt rear brakes. The car runs. rives and stops perfectly. The stock AM radio is non functional but a complete hidden AM/FM CD. SB unit has been installed in the glove box and sounds great. This is a factory A/C car but not connected under the hood. The PHS documents show that this is a real 242 GTO shipped 10/10/68 to Lakey- Falls Pontiac in North Carolina.
