1992 RICHARD PETTY EDITION PONTIAC GRAND PRIX --original owner-survivor

Happy New Year ! Among my resolutions is downsizing in preparation to moving to a much smaller house----that does not have a garage and I am unwilling to pay storage fees. Probably not the best time of year to offer this---but ......... I was friends with the sales Manager at the local Pontiac dealership---and despite this---the only Petty car allocated to the dealership was spoken for. Come spring--he called me and one of the dealerships in NC had a loaded white one that had not sold. It was transported here and I purchased it==[ technically leased it ] on May 26th,1992. I drove it daily until 1996 when I bought a Bonneville---and this became a third---and later a 4th car. Today, t has 49,500 miles on it---all of my doing. It has always been garaged. It has a couple 24 year old car quirks---the most annoying is the check gauges light and low fuel light have popped on and off since its last tune up 2 years ago.
