Hello and thank you for your interest in my 1965 Pontiac GTO. I originally bought this car to do a mechanical restoration. Its got unbelievable patina and is very solid. Mostly original paint. Original 389 4 barrel car with 4 speed manual. Currently runs and drives and stops although my intentions were not to keep it that way. This sale will include a complete built Butler performance 447 engine. I purchased the engine kit from Butler and built the engine. It has been tested and run in on the dyno. Its ready to go!! I also set up the Holley EFI while it was on the dyno so it should be a plug and play application. I have a full QA1 coil over suspension front and rear for the car included. Complete EFI intake pump fuel system and tank. Dougs headers. New underhood wire harness for a clean install. New 3:73 gears with locker. There are a lot of nice brand new parts here. My plan was to run a tremec TKX so I have a new bell housing to go with as well. My plan was to remove the original drive train and build a stout car to cruise and enjoy but still retain all the original parts for future restoration. This GTO is very original down to the correct air cleaner. When I purchased it I was told it was pulled out of a barn where it had been stored since the 70s. I did get the PHS docs that will be included. As far as rust it is very solid with only surface rust. I was actually really surprised on how well it runs. This would be a great candidate for a restoration as well. I am not in a position to where I can move forward with the project as I have followed other passions of mine. With that being said I am willing to accept offers and will openly communicate any questions or concerns. I can have all the additional items palletized with the sale. I can assist with shipping.
