Description
Vehicle DetailsSelling my labor or love: My beautiful 1970 Porsche 911 Targa. The matching numbers car was recently fully restored and wide bodied (all steel) by renown a team of performance oriented automotive connoisseur. The vehicle was recently tuned by Gasworks! Total build / renovation cost is approximately 100K. The 911 Targa has always been a special Porsche and this one has been restored inside and out and only driven 100 miles since its renovation that was completed in June 2022! The body was recently repainted in its “Slate Gray” color (#708090), reminiscent of Steve Macqueen’s Porsche. The car stands on the characteristic Fuchs rims that are inextricably linked to the Porsche 911. During the painting work, the body was completely re-tightened. The sheet metal is therefore beautifully tight and has correct fits. The removable Targa roof is also in very good condition and connects everywhere. The interior has already been completely reupholstered and modernized giving you all the creature comforts of a new vehicle. As befits a real sports car, the Porsche is equipped with its original Recaro well-fitting bucket seats. The seats are covered with fabric that is considerably more comfortable in warm weather than the often mounted vinyl, and features orange houndstooth accents. Furthermore, the “dogleg” gearbox pattern and the large, centrally placed tachometer stand out. The vehicle also features the very desirable Porsche classic radio 2 that includes Apple Carplay. The best part—the engine has been updated with additional power and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission and allows the 911 to deliver performance that is commensurate with its stunning looks.
