'82 Supra L-18,000 Mile Original Time Machine

Looking for a new "caretaker"for this beautiful 1982 Toyota Supra with 18,000 miles. This is a stock, n-modified virtually rust-free very clean thirty three year old California time machine. It has the 5M-GE 2.8L engine, hich provides 145 horsepower, nd is equipped with the 4-speed automatic with overdrive. It also has the UNGO alarm and disabling system, hich works very well.

This car was last registered in 2010. I am the third owner, he first leased the car for two years and his friend bought the car for his wife and they owned the car for the last thirty-one years.

This all-original beauty has been mostly garage kept through out the years and looks like it just came off the showroom floor. That said, here are three areas that need attention (see photos): behind the driver's side door is a 2"light rust spot. On the passenger side below the filler door, as had leaked out and blistered the paint. By the front emblem between the headlights, here is an area that looks like it had been rubbed, emoving some of the paint. Upon close inspection you will see a few chips from road use. All of the glass is excellent, nd the sunroof works like a charm.

The leather interior is in excellent condition-no cracks or tears on the seats-seats are extremely supple and pliable. The dash has cracked, ut has a very nice custom cover. The carpet and floor mates are original and show some fading in the front. The trunk carpet is like new, s well as the spare tire. This has the rare digital dash, nd everything works as it should except the radio (Alpine) and the driver's side mirror. The mirror switch and motor work, ut I believe the gears inside the mirror are stripped.

I replaced the tires, s the originals were cracked and unsafe. I also replaced the shocks and struts as well as the tie rod ends and the muffler. The car is California smoged for the next two years.

The Supra loves to cruise and is a head turner wherever I go. The dash photo shows 17,471 miles, ut now shows 18,274 miles, un to drive. It's extremely quiet going down the road and feels as if it could go on forever. Steering is solid and nicely weighted and the brakes bring the car to a stop in a smooth and straight line. This is equipped with the automatic climate control and the a/c works just fine. This is like driving a new car, hich as it is an 18,000-mile Toyota, t practically is.

Engine and transmission are all in very good condition. I replaced the spark plugs, nstalled a K&N air filter as well as changed the oil.

This 18,000 mile Supra is ready to give the next owner years of dependable enjoyment. You won't find a nicer Supra than this one, specially one with this low mileage and minimal wear and tear.
