Background information: Purchased new 7/31/1982 at Seminole Toyota Tallahassee, FL “FREE OIL CHANGES FOR LIFE OF VEHICLE” (except… the dealership is no longer in business). I am the third owner. Second owner who I bought it from purchased in 2010 from original owner family. It is a US Version Land Cruiser which makes a huge difference in comfort, safety, and value. The truck has been driven to FJ rallies in NC With No issues.

** BODY CONDITION **

Due to the exceptional care by the previous owner, rust was not a factor with this vehicle. It was repainted piece by piece using factory OEM Medium Blue (color code #857) in base coat clear coat. Top, front grill painted OEM Cygnus white. Previous owner added correct stamped new front floor pans. No other panels or rust repair was needed. New OEM Parts: front bumper, bumperetts, mirror arms & mirrors, door weatherstripping window sweeps, door pins & bushings, license plate lights, ambulance door & side window weather stripping, emblems, hardtop weatherstripping.

.. Rubber pads custom made under all painted hinges (no paint to paint).

** 245 hours of professional paint work was recorded with $3,000.00 of primer & paint.

** INTERIOR CONDITION **

All seat upholstery (new foam on front seats), headliner, and have been recovered. Sun visors are new OEM. Front seat frames & roll bar have been powder coated. Dash is original with no cuts or tears. Original Toyota mat with Lloyd custom mats over top. Under mats is custom sound deadener (not glued in). All dash controls, gauges, and lights in working order. Jump seats and new seat belts in place. OEM tool kit, spare tire jack, and rods in original mountings. Brake and clutch pedals powder coated.

** MECHANICAL CONDITION **

4.2-liter 2F inline-six (90,328 miles) linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. POWER STEERING. Head and valves rebuilt by Precision Crankshaft in Jacksonville, FL. Manifolds reworked and new OEM manifold gasket, exhaust manifold rings & springs installed. The transfer case was rebuilt, Transmission resealed. New complete clutch assembly. Jim Chenoweth rebuilt carburetor. 5 new 16 inch powder coated wheels from Cruiser Outfitters with Yokohama Geolander AT’s 235/85/16. Alignment. Old Man Emu springs, shocks, shackles, greasable pins, steering dampner.

All splash shields, oil pan, valve cover, thermostat housing, air cleaner, sand blasted & powder coated. New spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, hoses, belts, Battery, rear main seal, emergency brake cable, front brake calipers & pads, power steering pump, air pump, tie rod ends, Wheel alignment. Brake fluid flush. Alternator rebuilt.

Everything works..Including seat belt buzzer and cooling fan. New coolant & washer reservoir with new washer motor. LED instrument cluster bulbs making it bright and easy to see gauges.
