Up for sale is a 1974 Triumph TR6—an iconic British roadster with great bones and tons of potential. This is a very restorable car with the hard-to-find original parts still intact, and a solid foundation for someone who wants to tinker and drive something special.

The car was running perfect until a

Few months ago. It turns over, has spark, and has had a long list of parts recently replaced, including:

• Rebuilt Stromberg 175 CD-2 carburetors

• New ignition components: points, condenser, coil, plugs, plug wires, rotor, and distributor cap

• New fuel pump and fuel filter

It needs some carburetor adjustment and tuning before it will run properly under throttle. Don’t suspect it’s more than just the usual post-rebuild dialing in that comes with Strombergs.

The turn signals are currently inoperable, due to detached solder joints in the wiring. However, I’m including a brand new turn signal switch with the car (uninstalled) to make that fix straightforward.

The body is in good shape for its age, and the car rolls, steers, and is easy to move around. A perfect candidate for a garage project that doesn’t require starting from zero. Clean title in hand.
