Selling my 1966 Volkswagen hard top (work in progress) - just have too many projects at the time to finish it up. Car has clean pink slip title, current DMV status is 'non-operational' with two (white) California License plates. Car has (1600cc) motor; 4 new pistons, 4 new cylinders, new alloy spring push rods tubes - motor has new oil but never been started as of yet. Has 4-speed manual (standard) transmission / non-freeway flyer, front & rear chrome bumpers with brackets, two new full floor pans (Rt. & Lt.), lowered with newly re-chromed 5-spoke wheels with chrome center caps, chrome wheel locks & key, 4 new front & rear tires, Front tires are 145/15" & Rear tires are 165/15'' new (tan/peanut butter) front & back seat covers for low front & back seats, new front seat cushion foam, matching (tan) front & rear door panel (no side pockets or ash trays), (tan) headliner, new rubber window seals, window felt and window track rubber/felt.
Car comes with all the parts; rear mirror, sun visors, glass windows with front (vent) windows, 5-Panel Wink Mirror, Formuling France, 4-spoke steering wheel with hub adapter, (original) VW 5-Lug spare wheel and tire, gas tank, headlight assy. & lenses, new front/rear fenders, new front/rear aprons, door latches, new rear shocks. I have all the smaller parts for the car in boxes that was taken off before it was cleaned, primed and painted - all ready to install - $4,000+ invested to date.
This car just needs some VW owner TLC, a good garage, some piecing together, paint finishing-up and it can be clean and running for the summer time !!!
