1970 vw bus westfalia tintop
1600cc aircooled single port engine
Front disk brakes, rear drum brakes
I bought this beauty last summer. She runs and drives great but will need a valve adjustment. I drove all over San Jose with no issues. No freeway driving tho. Both rear drum brake cylinders leak which i have both replacement cylinders for it. I dont have time to install them at the moment. Their is also a small oi leak. New tie rod links, brand new front tires and alignment was done.
I gutted and removed the whole interior, sanded off surface rust then coated it with rustoleum. Thermal and sound deadener was installed as well. Re-upholstered the westy fold down bed, installed new wood panels and hardwood flooring. Custom Folding table and the sought after middle seat is also present. I custom did the steering wheel, repainted the dashboard with vinyl spray, new trigger shifter and new floor matts.
As you can see, ive also added exterior accessories like a roof rack, elephant ears, eyebrows, hella fog lights and ladder ( not pictures )
