1989 Volvo 240 DL (low mileage)

Description

This is an excellent condition low mileage 1989 Volvo 240 DL. It's been a great car and my primary driver for the last couple years, but I can no long keep it safe from the elements. Hopefully it can find a great home.

• This car was garage kept for the majority of its life, with only minor blemishes in the paint and is rust free. It does have a small ding on the bottom of the rear passenger door. I've tried to capture any imperfections in the paint or body in the photos.
• Engine and transmission are in great working order.
• I've had professionals convert the AC from R12 to R134a, and I can attest after driving through the desert it can handle the the cooling.
• I've performed a few other improvements/maintenance upgrades along the way which can be found in the Carfax report. All professionally done.
• Upgraded audio and sound. The deck is SiriusXM ready, USB and bluetooth compatible.
• Smog certified in the state of California
• One item of note is that is not listed on the report - the instrument cluster has been replaced. As most Volvo 240 owners probably know there was a flaw with the plastic gear that spins the odometer. I stopped driving this car after I noticed the odometer malfunction. While attempting to replace the flawed gear the speedometer needle broke. I then purchased a refurbished cluster fromwww.wagonmeister.com with the exact mileage listed prior to replacement. While the instruments on the cluster perform properly, the lighting is spotty.
