Description for Willys GPW 1944

Here is your chance to get in a amazing condition 1944 Ford GPW

(Most people search Willys, so this is why I have it on the title)

Important Note.

This is not one of those typical Jeeps sold for $15K from the east coast. This is an all-Original Body, 100% Rust free Willys.

This is a show quality Jeep which can be used in WW2 Museum. You might not ever find such a quality solid Jeep ever again. So please contact me if you understand what I mean.

I bought it from a Fire station Army veteran in CA whose grandfather served in WW2. He passed away a while ago, but his son kept the Willys in the family after.

It took about 100 hours of label work and lots of money to bring back to the original shape. Also to make it fully reliable to drive every weekend.

The Jeep has the original 4 cylinder 2.2L Go Devil WW2 engine and manual transmission.

It runs well like a new 81-year-old solid Jeep if is not even better. Max speed of 50 mph. To be safe, I would say 45.

I take it to local car shows all the time. People love to see such an icon show up in any car show.

What Needs to Be Done on This Jeep

Nothing.

There is nothing to fix as far as I can see.

It has new spark plugs. Fire up right away. Runs well, what can I say more. very solid. it is all original body and panels. Zero rust on the body, floors, and frame. It has been in CA for it’s whole life.

It looks like the engine was redone a few years ago. No Oil leaks at all. Runs and shifts strong.

All gauges are working except the oil Speedometer. Will try to work on it also.

New parts installed

Carburetor, Spark plugs and Wires. Upper and lower Radiator Hoses. Horn, Starter, Alternator 12V. New Headlights, Taillights.

Oil and Oil filter, Decals, Wipers, Seat covers, Soft Top. and new Paint.

Might be more which I do not remember at the moment.

Is this a Originalmilitary Jeep?

Yes, since it is not a CJ. Any Willys before 1945 is a military model. Also, will say CJ on the Vin number.

It has original identification Ford matching plates on glove box door which matches with engine and frame number.

The Jeep is sold inAS IS Conditionsince it is a 81 years old car.

Just see it as a fun little classic Jeep which can take it to car shows andparades.

This type of Willys model sells for $35-40K. I sold myself more than 5 of them on eBay.

I have clean CA title in hand.

I have sold so many classic cars in my life. I just sold 2 American icons just 6 months ago again to get the money ready for my divorce settlement. 1967 Mustang Fastback California GT. And 1979 Trans Am T-Top Bandit Edition. I got positive feedback from both buyers on eBay.

1942 Willys MB (#156803425133)

1976 Pontiac Trans Am (#156637262866)

This was the first time I purchased a car off of eBay and certainly nothing quite this expensive. The car seemed to be exactly what I was looking for, but watched the ad for several months before deciding to contact the seller. This seller was great to deal with and answered all my questions. He was very patient with me. We FaceTimed, and he showed me everything I wanted to see and answered all my questions. He helped facilitate loading the car for shipping and was a pleasure to work with. A+

Exceptional transaction. Best E-Bay seller I have worked with.
