You are considering a 1956 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible project car. 1 of 3467 built. This Corvette has been in storage for years. We did get it running and it lot drives and stops. This Corvette is not road worthy to drive home. It currently has a 1958 3737739 283 Engine but retains its original dated Powerglide transmission and dated Rear Differential. We believe the car was originally Artic Blue with a Red Interior. There are signs of the blue on the floors and in nooks and crannies! This Corvette also appears to have been heavily optioned with: Heater. Power Windows. Both Tops. Power top. Parking Brake Alarm. Courtesy Lights and Powerglide Automatic Transmission. The hardtop and power top system is missing. This car has a very good body. We found a small repair in the left front fender and in the rear bumper area. There are no splices thru the body anywhere!. The paint is old and looks better in pictures. The frame is in very nice rock solid shape with only light surface rust and grime and no signs or repair . It has all its original gauges and radio. Window glass in good condition. Original shifter. All hood. doors. decklid. and trunk latch closed. Loose parts pictured are included! . Known items missing: Spare tire. jack. jack tools. rear tire board. door panels. kick panels. and ignition shielding. Car shows 95k miles and is being sold as mileage exempt.
