Description for Alfa Romeo GTV 1968
The GTV is a 1968 Canadian Delivery European Model 1750 with dual webers. Originally Red with Black leather. The car runs as it sits. However doesn't drive. Clutch and brake pedals do nothing. It needs a full complete restoration. There is likely a ton of bondo on the car. I do have the proper wheels/hubcaps for the gtv. I just had to swap wheels onto the Super to get it to roll. This was an east coast car, ence the rust. So needless to say, t's pretty rusty. But it's all there. Off the top of my head, t would likely need new rockers, t least the front floor boards, ront engine cross member, ottom of the nose, ruck lid and maybe spare wheel well. Many of those are standard issue when doing a full resto of a car that's had anything to do with the east coast. There was a small accident on the front of the car, s you can see. The bumper is pushed back a bit and the pass fender is bowing out a bit. No creases or cracks. The car needs some love, ut more importantly $$$$. It won't be cheap. The car is missing the passenger side rear quarter window too.
If anybody has interest feel free to drop me a line and I'll happily discuss the vehicle with you. This is my fourth Alfa at the moment and I need the garage space! Video of the Engine running can be seen on San Diego's Craigslist page if you search 1968 Alfa GTV. There is a link to all photos and the video of the engine running.
Info from Alfa Romeo Storico:According to our documentation files, he chassis number AR 1353730 originally corresponds to an Alfa Romeo 1750 GT Veloce (105.44), anufactured on the 13th March 1968 and sold on the 7th May 1968 in Willowdale. The body colour is Alfa red, ith black skai interiors.
I'm happy to answer any questions or take any additional pictures as requested. The car is in my garage and I don't have a lift, o I can't really get you photos of the underside very well.
