Description for Alfa Romeo Spider 1974
An Italian Beauty restoring to mint condition but don't have time to finish it. It will only go up in value. Good investment fun car.I have had Alfas of all years and makes including a 33 Boxer motor. Love these little Spiders that will never go out of style. The classic sports car.
I am in the process of restoring 2 others and just don't have time. I will let this one go cheap so make your best offer asap.
For $5k this is a great price to take it away since you can finish it off and easily get $10k or more for it. Who doesn't want an Red Italian Sports car?
The original cloth top was bad so I put a vinyl one over it just in case it rains but it never does in Southern California.
This is a collector's car and only want serious cash buyers. No looky looks please as I don't have time to waste. Buy it or move on.
All original except seats were reupholstered but if you don't want them I will knock of $300.00 usd and I will keep them.
The motor starts right up but usual cold start issues with Alfas. Motor is strong and oil clean. Clutch good. Got rid of most of the rust built up on the body but nothing major.
Had not have time to go through the electrical, tc. but all wires and fuses look good. Send me questions but make a good offer. They don't manufacture these any more and I am proud to own one, specially a 1974 in California that does not need to pass smog ever year. Still has original SPICA but I always put Webers DCOE 40 or 45 on the ones I keep.
