Description for Ford Torino 1970
For Sale 1970 Torino GT N code 4 speed 460 SC, .50 posi N case. I have owned this car since 1991. I restored it in 1995-97. When I bought the car it had clutch pedals and a cut up floor . From the factory it was an automatic Bucket seat car. At the time there were no Marti reports so I just assumed it was a 4 speed car and that is how it went together. I had a 429 SCJ engine out of a 70 Cyclone spoiler that I put in it. The It was bored 40 over and stroked to a 460. It has a solid lifter cam with harland shrap roller rockers and a lunati cam. I also have a factory oil cooler set up with and a new set of FPA headers that will go with it . I also have a Borgenson steering gear that I was going to install in it . It has a factory tac, ear sport slat, haker hood and VERY RARE SHELBY INTAKE. it had the complete rear spoiler set up off a 1970 Cyclone Spoiler. Hidden head lamps that wor, nd rear window defogger, ap light . It runs real strong . Now what it need, t has bubbling and cracked paint on the front fenders, oors and deck lid. It has a blown power valve and needs a carb rebuild. It leaks a few drops out of the power steering line ( This is why I was going to put a borgenson power steering box i it) . This is a nice car but just needs some fixing on. I have restored it once and have just lost interest in fixing it up again . It has wony many awards at car shows here in Montana and has been a blast. I dont need to sell it but the way I figure it I can fix it all up and I could get 40-50 K for the car set up with parts listed above. You can talk to anyone on the Torino forum ( torinocobra dot com ) that is where I have spent alot of time over the years and if you want a torino this is a great bunch of guys who can help you . Sold as is ! If you have any questions please call or text me at 406-899-1217, hanks Robert
