One of a Kind 1976 BMW 2002 RestorationUp for sale is this fantastic 2002 that has been customized to look like a competition model although all racing decals are just there just for looks and can be easily removed. All the work is 1st rate and this vehicle runs great as well. You can drive it anywhere. There are less than 500 miles on the vehicle since the restoration was completed. The engine has dual Weber 40 DCOE 151 carbs and the heads have been reworked for improved breathing. Spark has been boosted with a Bosch high performance coil and wires and the exhaust is a chambered system with a header. Braking has been upgraded with BMW front discs and Brembo rear drums. The Konig 15" wheels are Panasport replicas and are fitted with Goodyear Eagle 195/55R15 tires. The suspension has been updated with Bilstein shocks with spring kit and lighting is enhanced with Hella Rallye 1000 driving lights. The vehicle has never been raced but could easily be set up for competition with the installation of a roll cage and a fire extinguisher. The paint was applied after sanding the body to bare metal. All of the trim is NOS BMW items. The custom interior features BMW Recaro seats that have been redone in stunning red & black leather motif. There is also a custom made guage cluster installed below the dashboard. The shifter is from Bavarian Auto Sport and has a Hurst shift knob for good measure. Included in the sale are the original bumper and wheels in case the new owner would ever decide to re-install them. The vehicle is located in Fairmont WV just off exit #136 on I-79.
