1969 BMW vintage race carThis car was fully restored and built from the ground up from a very clean rust free car in 2005. EVERYTHING was either new or refurbished to as new condition when it was restored. It was highly developed with all the right parts to be competitive and has always been a front running and drop dead reliable car. Professionally maintained and serviced since it built. It has run in vintage events across the US and even one winter in New Zealand with fantastic results. Body, aint and engine were freshened about 3 years ago and it has only been driven 8 or 9 race weekends since. then. Motor runs very strong and leak down numbers are all from 3-5%. - Terry Tinney (Performance Motors in Livermore, A) built vintage legal 2.0 liter M10 engine - 220+ hp, RP head studs, auter rods, hrick 336 cam, ester Owen forged steel rocker arms, tahl header, luminum flywheel, 5mm Webers, ne wire ND alternator, ated oil pan with crank scraper, ertronix ignition.- Getrag 245/10 close ratio 5 speed transmission - this is the very rare one you want with the stronger synchro design, og-leg first gear and 1:1 5th gear- 320i LSD rear diff- Ron Davis aluminum radiator- Close ratio steering box- Modified pedal box that uses a direct mounted Mercedes Benz master cylinder- Suspension Techniques front and rear sway bars- Up-graded Porsche style CV joint and axle conversion- Bilstein front and rear shocks- Tii front struts with vented front rotors and Volvo 4 piston front brake calipers- Coil over adjustable front springs- Rear springs have height adjustable upper mounts - Modified rear cross trailer arm mounts with adjustable camber and toe- All urethane suspension bushings- Stainless steel exhaust systems - one open system that exits out the side and another full length system with a muffler for sound limited events- Defrost air system for windshield- Sparco EVO seat- Sabelt harness good through 2017- Halon fire system- 8 gal fuel cell with aluminum container- Accu-sump system- Fiberglass hood and trunk lids- Fiberglass flares front area rear- AMB hard wired transponder-The car does NOT have a title- 13x7" wheels front and rear - car includes 2 sets of Panasports and one set of Compomotives
