1973 BMW 3. 0 CS (E9) So I’m starting a business and the first thing that has to go is my coupe. Ouch…. It’s ridiculous how many compliments I get driving this car. I’m the third owner of this blue-plate California car and I hope to describe it as honest as I can. This coupe with 127. 00 miles is taken care of by Lubo’s BMW of Sacramento. The Webbers are tuned along with the rest of the motor and it starts right up and sounds awesome. Transmission is butter smooth. and the thing drives amazing: absolutely straight. tons of freeway power after about 70. Lots of new tune-up parts too many to list. New brakes. Bilsteins. Michelins 14’s. digital clock motor conversion. on and on. But the car is all original and completely unmolested: no crazy additions or speaker holes. It sits like it left the factory. Chrome trim is gorgeous. not a single door dent – not one! Außenbekleidung ist orginal baikal. This car isn’t a concourse car. It’s the perfect weekend driver. and I’m going to describe the few things the next owner might want to do. Re-align the sun roof. Switch. motor and trim are nice. but the retracting arm is not aligned. Either recharge the AC or convert to newer system. Replace spare tire wheel well due to rust. Replace front right brake line as it leaks a little. Driver’s side seat lower handle missing chrome trim. A few of the tools are missing. Door locks need lubrication. Light under the hood not connected. Piece of trim under drivers dash needs re-glued. I think that’s about it. Thanks US buyers only please.
