I am selling this classic E3 Bavaria 3.0s that I've owned since 2012. It's been a fun and enjoyable restoration process, and we have had a blast driving it. The car drives great, it's strong and impresses everywhere it goes. Because I live in NYC it is getting increasingly difficult to find an affordable garage to park it in, and a space to work on it, so my family and I have decided to sell it.
We recently had the engine re-built by a certified BMW dealer in NJ (Prestige BMW) together with many other replaced parts and repairs. Below is a list of what I've done so far all with original OEM parts + many other smaller things not listed. Please note the car needs body & interior work, there is rust in areas as shown in the photos, and the driver-side floor pan needs to be replaced. Both front seats need repair, the seat in the back is in good condition. There are two tiny cracks in the dash that you can barely see and a few other details like the wood trim in the driver's door is cracked. There is also a tear in the ceiling lining as noted in the picture. The rear left window is shut and needs to get checked if you want it operational. Around the exterior right side of the frame it needs to be sealed to prevent water from getting inside. All these imperfections I'm noting in an effort to be as honest as possible in my listing.
Lots of time, effort and money have been put into this car to keep it original with the best parts available. The only item that is not original are the dual Weber Carbs that replaced the original Zenith. I do have the original Zenith carburetors fully restored for an extra price if interested. I'm including all the service records I have, the original manuals, and a couple original repair manuals to help you service and fix anything in the car. I'm also including random screws, bolts, old wiper motor, light bulbs and other small extras. The original headrests, not pictured, are also included with the car. I took them off because I prefer the look without them. The odometer was also replaced so the miles are not accurate.
