The S38B36 3.6-liter DOHC 24-valve inline-six features individual throttle bodies and was rated from the factory at 3330 horsepower vs. it's north american model which had only 315 horsepower. It is mated to a Getrag five-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip rear differential. The engine and transmission removed from the car, the engine rebuilt, and the powertrain reinstalled. While the components were out, the engine compartment was cleaned and painted, and rubber hoses and clamps were replaced upon reinstallation of the powertrain.
