The 1957 BMW Isetta 300 was the first Isetta found on American roads, with all previous models being European only. Renzo Rivolta was the inventor of the Isetta bubble car style in 1952 and he later licensed the "half car half motorcycle" to BMW. In 1956 BMW started producing the car for the masses, turning the car into reliable transportation. a 298cc (18.2 Cubic Inch) 13 Horsepower Single-Cylinder 4-Stroke Engine with a One Bing Carburetor mated to a 4 Speed Chain/Sprocket Manual Transmission, the Isetta was capable going 50 mph and getting 50 mpg. The exterior of this '57 Isetta is finished in Red and White that matches the interior of the car. This Isetta sits on 4 10" Steel Wheels with stock chrome BMW Hubcaps and Bridgestone 4.8-10 Bias Ply Tires.
