This is your chance to own a pro built Hot Rod for half the price to build and no waiting. The concept here was to clone Jay Leno's 1955 Buick Custom. Being that Jay wasn't about to sell his. this car was done in its likeness. Starting with a beautiful original body. The car was stripped completely to bare metal. The body was fitted over an Art Morrison Chassis with C4 corvette suspension up front and a four link rear suspension in the rear. It has coilover shocks all around. a stainless steel fuel tank. fuel lines. TIG welded exhaust. P/S. P/B and the best of evrything. Five (one spare) one-off Boyd Coddignton custom billet wheels were made to resemble the original Buick Hub Caps and Wide Whitewall Radial Tires. a 9" Ford Rear differntial finishes off the chassis. Every bit of hardware is new and the best you can get. Chassis is painted gloss silver like the body colorThe Engine is a crate 502 Big Block Chevy. with a Carburetor. big aluminum cooling system with dual fans. GM style accessories (alt. A/C pump. brake booster. ignition etc) for reliability. The firewall and inner fender panels have been slicked out and painted show quality on both sides. The car is fast. reliable and sounds great!The interior is mostly grey cloth with black accents like headliner and carpet. The dash is a work of art with the beautiful engine turned panels. lots of chrome and clever hidden switches and the center grill that is automated to open and reveal the audio system hidden within. The steering wheel is a downsized original. The trunk is also well finished with carpet. The front wall is hinged to reveal the battery. the ausio components and built in battery tender. The lower floor panel lifts up to gain access to the matching spare wheel and tire with jack. The doors and truck are remote controlled power operated with solenoids. The doors use bear claw latches. The door jambs are also well detailed and painted. The chrome on the car is extensive and all very nice and new. The front bumper bullets have driving lights fitted into them. The body is straight. rust free and well finished in a high quality basecoat/clearcoat urethane paint. The car presents like new. drives like new and you will absolutely not be disappointed.
