BLACK BUICK SPECIAL WITH LUSH RED INTERIOR, EW BLACK BASE COAT CLEAR COAT PAINT AND BLACK TOP. THE BUMPERS ARE RE-CHROMED AND SET THE CAR OFF BEAUTIFULLY. THE THREE SPEED SHIFTS SMOOTHLY AND IS MATCHED WITH THE STRAIGHT 8 UNDER THE HOOD. THIS IS A GREAT CAR FOR THE MONEY.
EXTERIOR Nice solid 1953 Special body, ith new base coat clear coat paint with miles since completed, he bumpers front and back have been re chromed, he side stainless is in very good shape as are the teeth in the grill that go so well with the port hole gills on the side. Most of the emblems are original and show minor wear and patina. The body is solid and straight and the door and hood fit nicely. New windshield with tinting. Very nice clean metal structure on the undercarriage including the floors and convertible X frame as you can see by the pictures.
INTERIOR The red interior shows very well with brand new seat covers and door panels. The carpet is new as is the convertible boot. The dash is painted black and shows very well for a mostly original dash and ribbed center bezel with original gages and original Buick push bottom radio and retains the original steering wheel and red white and blue Special horn ring.
MECHANICAL The classic straight Eight cylinder engine supples the power to this classic cruiser. The three speed on the column shifts beautifully and is reminiscent of days gone by of a simpler time. This Special car is rolling in red steel wheels, ew wide whites tires and correct Buick Hub caps
