We are offering for sale a 1948 Buick Roadmaster 8 cylinder, 3-on-the-tree, 4-door. This car is a garage find. It has been in a garage since 1974. When my mechanic pulled it out and rescued it, he said the motor did turn over but I didn't want to go through the brakes, gasline, fuel pump and everything else it takes to let the car run correctly. I'm leaving that all up to the new owner. When this car was parked in 1974, it was driven in the garage, turned off and it ran fine. This car's miles are TMU.
The frame is solid, the body is what you see. We tried to clean it up a little bit, and the interior has some weird looking seat covers. The trunk is 99% solid. If you're the lucky winner of the car when the auction ends in 5 days, we'd like to get the car out within a 7 day period. It will have to be put on a flatbed to remove the car correctly or a dolly. If you want to buy yourself a nice, solid project car that you can bring out in the Spring, this Roadmaster could be a real find for you. Or if you just want to get it running and do all the mechanical work and drive it the way it looks today, that wouldn't be bad either.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL BIDDERS!
