Description for Buick Buick 1971

1971 Buick GS ConvertibleReal Deal 43467 VIN GSNOT A CLONE, RECREATION, REPLICA, TRIBUTE, ECT.One Repaint in correct Code 75 Fire Red!White Interior

1971 was a interesting year for the Buick GS. Sloan does not document 1971 GS cars. The only way to document one of these cars is by VIN...a 43467 VIN indicates a 1971 Buick GS Convertible...not if it was a 350 or 455 but a GS at that. This car is a 350 car...so wedon't have to worry about that.
I recently purchased this car from a collector down in Florida who purchased it from the original owner who lived in Texas.
It was a Estate car that got pretty much finished, including high quality bare metal repaint ($6,500), motor and trans rebuilt ($6500) brakes completely gone through ($2000) front suspensioncomponents all replaced as necessary, tires, wheels...ect.
In short there was about $20,000 invested in the car over the past several years, the car is completely usable AS-IS, but could use some minor finishing touches...heres what "I see"
1. Wheel wellmolding need to be installed on pass rear 1/4 panel, ( I will be including a good used one)

2. Steering wheel is rough, I'd buy a comfort grip for $250 at The Parts Place.
3. Dash pad has a few minor hairline cracks and could use replacement ($300)
4. Convertible top is usable but original...typically $1,400 is what I would pay to have one bought and installed with glass rear window. Mechanics of the top work great.
5.Original radio is misplaced...those are $100 everywhere oneBay.
6. Front door panels were off the car for paint and somehow got left outside at some point and are warped, ect. ($250) from Legendary.
These are the things that I see I would replace on the car to make it a fantastic car...of course, my opinion is just that.
I bought the car because my wife forced me to sell my last one...(identical car) and shewasn't happy I purchased another one to tinker with in the garage!
So, invest $1,500 and a little time detailing this car and you'd have a fine REAL GS 350...or drive AS-IS.
This car is super solid with a perfect frame, excellent body (arrow straight) floors, trunk, ect. are all nice.
I'd love to keep it and do the minors on the car and sell it instantly for $20k + like I did with my identical 71. Fire Red Convertible...and if itdon't sell, I may do just that!

Payment due within 3 business days...
